It’s Wednesday so I should have a new post up and although I’d intended to have one done about Hawaii, it looks as though I won’t finish it today. Video editing is taking longer than I planned and I’ve been distracted by beautiful spring weather so I’m giving myself a few more days to complete that. Meanwhile, it seems time I provide an update about this site and what I’m doing these days.

After 18 months of living out of a backpack, I’m not ready to settle down again. So I’m spending a few months in the States visiting family and friends, selling off a few items in storage, and making plans for the next phase of my journey. I’m in New York City at the moment, enjoying the company of great friends and stuffing myself with bagels, pizza, and old diner favorites. From here I’ll head up to Boston where I intend to continue stuffing myself with foods I’ve longed for (I might need more than one trip to Silvertone) and catching up with as many friends and former colleagues as time allows. Then I’ll leave the Northeast to spend a good chunk of time with family and check out a few parts of this country I haven’t yet explored. Beyond that, you’ll have to wait and see where I’m headed and what I’m up to. I will say that I’m excited about what I have in store and look forward to sharing it with you.

Because not everything I expect to be doing in the coming months will be worthy of mention here on Chasing the Unknown, I’m planning to share a few stories and experiences from the last 18 months that I haven’t managed to write about yet. Any new tales worth putting up here will take priority. I can’t promise to write every Wednesday but I can commit to having at least one new post each week. The best way to know when I’ve posted something is to subscribe (the box is in the upper right corner) as I don’t always link to Facebook or Twitter right away. There will be some changes to this site in the coming months but for those of you who asked, yes, I will keep it going as I continue the crazy journey I’m on. I hope you’ll stick around!
Thanks again, I like your reports it is always very interesting to hear from you.
Warm regards

I’m not going anywhere (which is one reason I keep coming back here)! See you very soon!
Thank you for the updates Marbree. I love hearing about your travels and journeys.
